J.C. Jones grew up in North Wales and resides in Brisbane, Australia with his wife and son. He has worked in a variety of technical roles in Information Technology for British, American and Australian companies. He has a passion for SF, astronomy, science and technology, and as many gadgets as he can get his hands on.
Winner of the 2003 AntiSF
Award, his speculative fiction has appeared in Visions
Magazine, Ragged Edge, Writer's Nook and Reader's
Corner, AntipodeanSF and Another Realm .

Publishing, is his first novel. In May/June 2005, Influx
was Fictionwise's #1
best-selling Science Fiction book, toppling Hitchhiker's Guide to the
Galaxy off the top
spot. One of his short stories, "Interstellar Brothers

Wire."
Currently working on his latest manuscript
(working title "Liquid"), he hopes to have it completed in the
coming months. Liquid is a lot more of an action/thriller than out-and-out
Science Fiction, and promises thrills, spills, espionage and plenty of
